Deanna has helped out with our 8 dogs as both a daily dog sitter and live in when we are away. She is more than a calm and confident presence for them - keeping them entertained with stimulating games and working on their general behaviour/training. We have recently moved abroad and she helped with the relocation and settling in of the dogs, and we will continue to use her when we need a dog sitter here. Highly recommended.
Deanna is very professional and is brilliant with animals. She looked after my 2 dogs and my 2 cats and I was so happy with the service. They were very well looked after and I would happily use Deanna’s services again.

My husband and I knew what we was letting ourselves in to by getting a Beagle but Deanna helped from 10 weeks to set in the basics right up to 5 months out and about walking and recall off the lead. I would highly recommend having her help within the first few weeks of bringing your pup home 🐶🐾
Deanna is just amazing and I am so very, very grateful to her. She has been fabulous with my loving but somewhat reactive boy. He adores her. Where other local trainers said Huxley was just difficult, Deanna really looked at the whole picture and worked hard to develop a bond and trusting relationship with him. As a result, he has made huge improvements in his reactivity and general confidence. Her observations that she thought he was in pain proved to be absolutely accurate - after 4 vets and lots of persistence, we finally got a diagnosis. I unreservedly recommend Deanna . She is highly qualified, informed and professional, cares deeply about the animals she works with, and is a thoroughly nice person.

I cannot recommend Deanna Hammond, from Partners in Paw, highly enough. We adopted a 12 month old dog, Sylvie, who originally came from a dog pound in Cyprus and was then placed with a family in the UK as a puppy. This didn’t work out and Sylvie was fostered before she came to us. My husband and I desperately wanted to give a rescue dog a loving home, but we didn’t have much experience between us. This is where Deanna was invaluable. We signed up for the Partners in Paw 1-2-1 puppy training course immediately. Deanna has a wealth of knowledge of animal behaviour and extensive experience of dog training. Sylvie clearly enjoyed her training with Deanna and was keen to learn. So were we! Apart from the usual training that you would expect, Deanna gave us so many helpful hints to deal with Sylvie’s behaviour that helped us so much in the early weeks. Each week she sent us a report of what we had covered in the sessions, highlighted areas that we needed to practice and set objectives for the coming weeks. Deanna was (and still is) always very responsive by text to any questions that we had. She has a calm and friendly, but professional approach and is always constructive in the way she responds to any issues. At times we needed reassurance that we were doing ok and Deanna was always supportive and never, ever judgemental. If you’re looking for a highly professional, very experienced, warm and friendly dog trainer, then I would strongly suggest that you contact Partners in Paw.
We have been working with Deanna at Partners in Paw for just over a year to train our cockapoo, Elton. We initially signed up to the 1-2-1 puppy course which was super insightful and taught us all so much. With her help Eltons recall, lead walking and general manners have dramatically improved.
We have also attended a couple of the social walks which have been very helpful as she is able to provide guidance and advice on how Elton can be around other dogs (he wants to be everyone’s best friend).
Elton also unfortunately has separation anxiety and as we had such good results with the 1-2-1 puppy course, we decided to seek Deannas help with training Elton to be alone. She has worked with us and our vet and has helped us to so far leave Elton for a short period of time (we could only manage 8 seconds previously). We were so impressed with Deannas knowledge and empathy for the situation and we couldn’t think of a better company and trainer to work with.

10/10 would recommend Deanna - very knowledgeable in her field, positive reinforcement only, professional, plans the training course around the specific dog and its needs. We booked a 121 course a few months after adopting a former street puppy from Macedonia, a high energy mongrel who can be anxious in new situations and had not lived in a home before. Deanna was a delight to work with - she's so friendly and easy to talk to, based the training sessions around the specific issues we needed help with and ways to help build our dog's confidence (and ours training her). The follow up emails after every session were very detailed and she was happy to provide additional advice between. Sofi is much happier and calmer and we have more structured outlets for all her energy. Super grateful, thank you
Deanna is an absolute natural with dogs! We hired her to look after our dog at our wedding and she was incredible from start to finish. She came for a visit before and our dog cooper fell in love with her instantly so we knew he was in safe hands. She was brilliant on the day and everyone at our wedding commented on how great she was at mingling and keeping cooper happy and safe. Very professional and knowledgeable. Deanna will make you and your pet feel at ease whilst giving some great behaviour advice. She's very experienced with dogs and I would have absolutely no worries leaving any of my pets with her, I know they would be loved and looked after as if her own. I can’t recommend partners in paw enough! We had the 121 puppy course and it was brilliant. Deanna is so knowledgeable and caring. I trusted her completely and our little Dolly is an absolute dream! She’s a westie so we knew we’re were going to need some help and I’m so thankful we got Deanna. If you are getting a puppy or have one this course is a must!!
Oh and she offers a wedding package which includes taking your pup to your wedding for photos! I can’t wait
